Student Summer Innovative Plant & Technology Experiences
July 19-23, 2010
Five days on the Texas A&M University College Station campus, especially for Texas students grades 9-11.
Students, particularly from historically underrepresented groups, across rural and urban areas of Texas will be invited to apply. Twenty-five selected students will receive a travel subsidy and accommodation in TAMU dorms. Funding support from teh Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) program at the National Science Foundation.
Students will be introduced to diverse career pathways and learn some of the technologies and tools used in modern plant science.
